Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am using the WPMUdev plugin Hustle Pro (hidden link) to add social sharing buttons to my posts (default post type posts, as well as custom post types competition and events). These posts use content templates, so I tried to add the shortcode ([wd_hustle id="1" type="social_sharing"/]) into the content template using the default WordPress block shortcode. However, it's just not working. I also have the options for it to display as a hovering block on the right hand side of each of these posts, but this is also not appearing.

What is the link to your site?

Hi there

I'm not sure whether it is possible to get the plugin to work with Toolset templates without taking a closer look.

Could we get access to your site to check the set up and to see if we can determine how it should work?

Let me mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.

What is a Content Template we can edit where you have tried to use this?

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question. You can use the news post content template, the events registration template, or the competitions template.

Hello,

I have tried these in your website:
1) Create a new page:
hidden link
Display the shortcode you mentioned above:
[wd_hustle id="1" type="social_sharing"/]

2) Test it in frontend:
hidden link
It display a hidden HTML tag, see my screenshot: Hustle1.jpg

3) Same result in single post which is assigned with Toolset content template, you might need to remove your custom CSS codes, or setup other CSS codes to override it, see my test Hustle2.jpg:

I don't have any custom css codes, but what custom css code could I use for this?

I also have the option of hustle the social shares as a floating bar but that also does not display.

I just decided to use the Toolset social share block instead. Unfortunately, I lose a little bit of analytics data from not using Hustle, but its ok. Thanks!
