Tell us what you are trying to do?
Create a user filter for filtering an existing term archive by other terms from the taxonomy, ideally in a widget.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/documentation/legacy-features/views-plugin/front-page-filters/
Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
hidden link
I would like to filter the posts listed on the practice area term archive pages by country terms.
It looks like I need to do this, yes?
https://toolset.com/documentation/legacy-features/views-plugin/front-page-filters/#custom-search-archive
Which I think I've done, but I'm struggling.

I'm making progress with this. If I understand correctly, I need to use a Toolset archive with a View rather than the default WordPress archive to be able to do this, yes?
I made a new Toolset archive and loaded the WPBakery template I used for my CPT as the loop template, and that works okay. If I then change the archive purpose to custom search, and add a search filter with a dropdown and Ajax search settings, the WPBakery shortcodes don't work, which is a pity, but not the end of the world.
Is it possible to have a dropdown in a widget which does the same thing?
