user directory - Toolset

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I am trying to:create a user directory

Instead, I got:The directory tutorial on your site doesn't seem to use the user database. How can I create a user directory that will display on our website (I wan't to create a page were visitor can search trought some specific search criteria our user with a detailed profile)

Hello,

I assume you are going to setup custom search form in the user view, there isn't such a built-in feature within Views plugin, you can setup the custom search form in a post view only, in a user view, in section "Custom Search Settings", you should be able to see a message:

Only Views listing posts can have custom search inputs.

And it has already been put in our to-do list as a feature request, our developers are working on it, but there isn't any ETA to implement it, I suggest you subscribe to our blog to get the updated news:
