Simple problem: I don't want users to see the Media Library. They should only be able to upload new files. So I disabled the ""Use the WordPress Media Library manager for image, video, audio, or file fields" option for my form (see screenshot 1).
But unfortunately, it still opens the media library when I want to upload a file.
It should be so easy and straightforward... At first I thought this is because I use the HTML editor for the form (see screenshot 2). But I also tried the default "Form editor" and it has the same problem.
Btw: I tested this with a user with the "Author" role, not an "Administrator" role, so that also shouldn't be the problem. Any ideas?
Hi Nigel,
Thanks a lot, I didn't see that. In this case this ticket is obsolete and I'll simply wait for the new version with the fix 🙂
Btw: If I'm not completely mistaken, there isn't a "Subscribe to the comments" feature on the errata page.
Best regards,
Michael
