Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to add a taxonomy image to the titles. I created a term field to add a featured image to the taxonomy, but it doesn't appear in the Fields and Views menu in the editor.
What is the link to your site?
salzburgaustria.guide
I know there has to be a simple solution for that. But I did a lot of research in the forum and I can't figuere it out.
Taxonomy Fields can be displayed only on Taxonomy Archives (which you can style with WordPress Archive Views) and on Taxonomy Views themselves.
Elsewhere, Taxonomy Fields are not available.
You can read more about this here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/displaying-wordpress-term-fields/
There, Taxonomy Fields work great for me. If you encounter issues with them following the DOC, please report it to me, with the steps I need to take in order to see the same.
Thank you!
Thank you for your answer. I believe that I am using a taxonomy view.
Am I right that a taxonomy view would just be a view with the content selection set to "Taxonomy"?
The category in the dashboard say: "Terms of the taxonomy Types of Places ordered by term name, descending"
that's what I am using. But for some reason I don't have my custom term in the "types and views" in the editor.
If that is helpful, I would be happy to share my account details.

Yes, one of the first (mandatory) steps of creating a View is to choose the content used, and that should be Taxonomy.
If you have some terms saved (existing) and they still are not insertable or visible when inserted on the front end, access could help, yes.
With access to your online site I can check if all is set correctly, but I refrain from making breaking changes or other analysis.
For that, we then would need to have a copy of the site.
But let's first see if the settings could be the reason!
Thanks.
On the Homepage I see you inserted the View, but that cell displays nowhere.
Just try to add a "here" string in the cell itself.
Where can I see that on the Front End?
I don't. Hence also the View cannot show.
Can you show me on a screenshot where exactly the Cell should or does show on the front end?
But I can see the issue of the Term Fields not being available in the GUI when editing the Loop Item with the Builder.
It simply calls post data, not term data in the GUI.
In the Loop of the specific View it works thou.
You should be able to insert it there and then copy paste it and edit the Syntax to use {!{shortcode}!}, that should then work also within the Builder Template.
I am reporting this as a BUG, since we just fall back to the Post Data when editing any kind of Content Template with Builders (this is due to how we actually edit them we change the Content Template to be a post temporarily so to use the Builders with it, and hence get post, not term data).
Meanwhile, I can only suggest to not use the Builder on this specific CT's or copy paste and edit the ShortCode.
This is not supposed to work.
I came first to this conclusion after reading the DOC carefully, where we do not show Term or User Views (neither Archives) to be used, and, after I analyzed the detail of how we edit the Content Template when you use a Page Builder it is clear that Page builders should not be used in "non-post" loops at the moment.
I also have a confirmation from the Developers that:
- this is a feature request
- Beaver Builder, or any page builder that you can use with Toolset, is not supposed to work on non-post loops.
- Implementations in this regard are planned for later. I cannot state any ETA for this unfortunately.
Concluding, right now you should theoretically not use page Builders within the not supported loops. Manual workarounds may work but would not be subject to granted functionality and debug just now.
I will now request a DOC update, so to warn other users from this potential issue.
