My site crashed this afternoon with an error message related to Toolset Types. I am using version 3.1.2. I disabled the plugin and that fixed the issue, but now I don't have access to my custom categories. Please advise. Do I need to purchase an upgrade? If so, will the upgrade process be automatic?

Hello,

If you are using the latest version of WordPress installation, you will need to use the latest version of Toolset plugins, including Toolset Types plugin, the latest version of Types plugin is 3.3.13, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
And you will need to upgrade the Toolset Types plugin manually, then follow our document to upgrade other Toolset plugins automatically:
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#automatic-installation-once-you-have-types-plugin-installed
section "Automatic Installation (once you have Types plugin installed)"

All Toolset settings are saved in your database, it is safe to delete plugin files, you can backup your website database first before upgrade.
