Update Toolset on my "development" website

This support ticket is created 4 years, 12 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,
I need to update my "production" website, but first I would like to try the update on my "development" website.

Since my account allows to use Toolset only on 1 site, and my "development" website is on another domain, I can't upgrade Toolset on my development website.

Can you please help me? Do you provide some workaround for development website?
Or maybe there's a way for updating Toolset without using "auto-update"? For example, via FTP?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You can update the plugins manually to your staging site using the plugins page by following the steps as given under:
- Deactivate and Delete all the Toolset plugins on your staging site from plugins page
- Download ALL the latest Toolset plugins you require from your account's Download page:
=> https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
- Upload and activate the Toolset plugins on your staging site using plugins page.
