I am trying to: update Layouts from 1.3.3 to 1.4 and WP Views from 1.10.1 to 1.11

I have tried to update both from the plugins-page and from Dashboard>updates.

I expected to see: the plugins updated.

Instead, I got: on the plugins-page it says updating - but it just hangs there... and on the dashboard>updates page I get an error for both plugins (see attached image)
(The error message translated: "An error occurred during the update of XX. Download failed. Bad request").
Other plugins (duplicator and activity-log) have been updated without problems...

I can't tell from the error message, what to do - can you help?

Thanks, Lisbeth

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Could you please try to add following line of code to your current theme's functions.php file and check if this help to resolve your issue.

add_filter('https_ssl_verify', '__return_false');
