The only other problem I noticed in our system is that we can't open any popup window with an embedded iframe. For example, more information about plugins in WP. Can it be related to that?
The developers are working to fix the bug. I am, on the other hand, working on why the shortcodes do not generated a resized image on your server.
I don't believe the issue comes from the fact that iframes do not open. Instead, I think that it comes from a 3rd party plugin, which I don't want to test on your live site, or from a PHP extension. Still looking for what is the cause.

The fix to the Image block resize issue, with custom sizes, has been fixed in this week's update. Please make a full backup and update the Toolset plugins, then check if you are able to resize the image block.
