This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user was unable to delete their content template that was assigned to a view that was deleted.
Solution:
The reason that the user was unable to delete the content template was that the view was still in the trash.
In order for you to completely delete a content template for a view you will need to completely delete the view out of the trash.

I am trying to delete a template which system says is used on Auto Draft but cannot locate where and it says layout is assigned to two posts. Also I have a Loop item under Content templates whaich again I want to delete it says it is used on a trashed view
Is there any documentation that you are following?
I haven't been able to find documentation for this issue
