Hi there, please help urgently.

I am unable to assign post fields to a post type.

When I go to the Edit Post Field Group screen and try to click the Edit button in the Where to include this Field Group section, it hangs and I don't get the option to choose. I get errors in the Chrome console too.

Please see the video at this link (please make this post private so people do not see the video)

The issue was resolved by increasing PHP memory limit on the server, but we have to go as high as 512MB for it to work. Which is really high.

Is there an issue with Toolset being so resource-intensive?

Hi Andrew

Is it a very complex field group? That is, does it contain many fields?

You may find that breaking the field group into several smaller groups will make it less demanding of resources.

Not at all. Eight fields, basic fields.

And at that point there were no fields attached yet, just the group.

Hi Andrew

That sounds way-off, then.

Try installing the Query Monitor plugin and then re-visit the page where you edit the post field group.

When I do that, on an existing site with plenty of content, other Toolset plugins installed etc., the peak memory usage is 57Mb (see screenshot).

Are there any slow queries reported on the same page?
