[Resolved] Types beta, unable to create repeatable field groups (button remains greyed out)

Following the documentation for creating repeatable field groups (https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/) using the latest Types beta. Assigned it to a CPT, yet the button to create a repeatable field group remains greyed out.

Did you really make sure to assign the Field Group to one single post type?

As soon you do that, the button for repeating fields appears clickable.

I tested this locally.

Or, it might be due to an incompatibility, because I tested the Beta as suggested only on a test site with the allowed plugins.

If you are sure the post type is assigned, and it still happens, can you:

- check if the issue also persists with a WordPress Default Theme and NO Plugins BUT the Toolset Plugins?
- If not, could you then re-enable the Plugins one after the other, and check the issue each time you enable a plugin?
- Please report me when the issue comes back
- It might also be due to the Theme.
- Please do reactivate your Theme only after you are sure the issue isn't coming from a 3rd Party Plugin.
- please check also the browser console, if you see any JS errors, which can point us in the right direction.

If you find the plugin conflicting, please let me know so I can report it or provide a fix.

If all above fails a duplicator could help greatly to show this to the developers.

Yes, I did assign it to a single post type. WPML seems to be causing the issue. Disabling it and the repeatable fields group button becomes selectable. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi Taiko,

I'm able to replicate the same issue on a clean install while WPML and Types are active.

I reported this to the second tier support so that we can investigate it.

We will update you once we get any updates.

As Mohammed already informed you we were able to replicate the BUG.

For now, there is no imminent solution, but to temporarily disable WPML when you want to add the group.

I assume that this will be fixed in the next release, either beta or stable.

This will be fixed with the today's beta release: Types 2.3-b4.

As soon it's available you will be able to download it on your Toolset Downloads > Beta section.
