Hi,

the site hidden link is very slow. I duplicated the site (on the same host and searched for the reason. After deactivating one plugin after another I found out, that the Toolset Views Plugin is the reason for the slowness of the site. There are many views, relationships and content-templates, even custom code. Why does Views slows down the site so much? Can this be fixed without using a cache plugin?
I think, it's useful to give you admin rights to the duplicated site, so you can take a look. You can reach the duplicated site at hidden link

Hi Thorsten,

Thank you for getting in touch.

It depends on what is causing the site to slow down. It could be that you're using an older version of PHP in which I would advise you to update to at least php version 7

If you're already running this and you site has a large amount of data then I would recommend the use of a caching plugin to help speed up the site.

Thanks,
Shane
