Tell us what you are trying to do?
The map filtering is working great the issue is after filtering the map a few times or zooming in and out of the map a few times the filter starts to slow down after each filter and eventually stop rendering the map altogether.

We are still experiencing this issue and we have tried using the duplicator plugin to package the site though it is unable to finish the build process.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

First of all - Could you please send me debug information that will help us to investigate your issue.
=> https://toolset.com/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

In order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference?

Can you please share problem URL where I can see the map with filters and what filters I should apply in order to see the issue?

#2716887

The url of the location we are having the issue is here hidden link. It is the same issue we had with this support ticket https://toolset.com/forums/topic/the-map-filter-is-gets-slow-after-a-couple-filters-or-zooming-in-and-out. It doesn't really matter what filters you choose just the more you change the filters the slower the load of the map gets to the point where it stops loading. Sometimes when it starts getting slow to load you can refresh the page and it will speed it up until more filters are changed. The longer someone interacts with the map and filters the slower it gets to load the map.

Hi there,

Thank you for the information. Do we have permission to copy your website to our server for further investigation?

Thanks.

Thank you. I want to inform you that the process of the site copying is started and I will start the troubleshooting when it is finished.

It might take time and I might be able to either have an answer tomorrow or fail to find an answer and report this to the second tier support to see what they say.

I will keep you posted here.

Thanks.

Hi there

Sorry to say that Christopher is off sick so hasn't been able to attend to this, and he is about to begin his weekend.

I was going to investigate this myself, but the link you shared for the problem URL now leads to a 404, and the credentials you shared no longer work.

So I'll leave this for Christopher to pick up when he returns as he has a copy of your site.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi there,

Sorry for my late reply. I was sick and could not attend the ticket.

I managed to copy the website and now the problem is that the map is not allowed to be shown on the URL we use:

Would you please add the URL below as the allowed URL on your Google console for the map so the map is allowed to be shown?

One other thing that I ask you to do on your website as a test is to go to WordPress Dashboard > Toolset > Settings > Map (Tab)

And remove the JSON file you uploaded for the Map style. See if it has any difference regarding the performance.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have added that url to the google console, so you should be able to see the map. when when copying the site to your server did something go wrong or did you have to change something on our stage? We are now having issues on the stage and it no longer has a vhost? We are restoring the stage now, but we need to know what the process is for copying our site to your servers, and what changes to the stage might have been made?

Hi there,

Thank you. I am going to check the copied website now.

The only thing we did was to install the Cloudways plugin and use that to copy the website from your server to ours:

Thanks

Hi there,

Would you please go to WordPress Dashboard > Toolset > Settings > Maps (tab)

And click to remove the JSON that you uploaded. And click the "Check for missing cache entries" button and then click the "Load stored data" button.

See the list. If it is not the whole list, please make sure you go over the map in the front end and load as many addresses as you can. And then do the same.

See if it fixes the problem for you.

I checked and I could not find the lagging issue in our server. But I'd appreciate it if you also double check

#2732227

Hello,

I have tried removing the JSON we uploaded for the styling of the map, but I keep getting a save failed. please refresh page and try again, error. We are not seeing any error logged in the server from this so we are not sure what is causing this, but we tested on the live site as well and we are still getting this failed to save error. we are disabling plugins to try and isolate the issue.

I also, checked the missing cache entries and the said nothing missing and I checked the Load stored data and it showed all the addresses.

#2732264

After, updating WP and going through and deactivating and updating plugins and changing themes we still have the issue of getting the saving failed, refresh page and try again, error. and the map load still slows down the more you interact with the filters and map

Hi there,

Thank you for testing those. Did you check the copied website? I do see the issue you mentioned about removing the JSON file, but even with JSON file enabled I see no slowing down there.

Maybe I am wrong? Did you test the copied version? What I tried was to use filters and bring back the addresses in the map and try to move the map ....

I want to know if you see the same thing or not. I want to establish:

- If the slowness can be replicated on a copied website? As the copied website has the same codebase and with my experience it works ok.

Thanks.
