I am trying to:
I am using the Content Notify plugin. This plugin was previously conflicted with Toolset Types, and the support identifies the issue and resolves the conflict.
You linked to a previous thread where there was a problem with notifications not being sent that was a problem with the Content Notify plugin, not with Toolset.
That thread linked to a previous thread where there were Out of Memory errors which could be avoided by excluding post types in the Content Notify plugin settings.
Can you clarify what exactly the issue now is? Please provide steps so that we can reproduce the problem.
Could we get access to your site to check the set up?
Let me mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.
I can see the issue of the custom fields not updating for the published grant posts.
To troubleshoot this compatibility issue, we'll need your permission to download a clone/snapshot of the website. This will allow us to investigate this in more depth on a test server.
Thank you for waiting as this investigation turned out to be more complex than initially expected.
During testing on your website's clone, and on my own test websites, I was able to confirm that the issue of the custom fields not getting updated was limited only to the case when post being edited, also had another post connected through a post relationship.
For example, in your website's scope, the Grant posts, where a 'Founder' post was also connected through a post relationship, would suffer from this.
Further tests confirmed that this incompatibility can be avoided, if the 'Content Notify' plugin's 'Subscription Options' are disabled from the 'Grants' post type's edit screen. You can go to WP Admin -> Subscriptions -> Settings -> General and in the option 'Disable 'Subscription Options' Metabox' include the 'Grant' post type.
This should only remove the 'Subscription Options' Metabox' from that post type's edit screen. If you've added any notifications, they won't be disabled or excluded through this option.
We have disabled the Subscription option meta box from the post type and the posts are updating fine.
We also notice an issue with adding/connecting existing posts in the post-relationship. We created a new post type Sr_courses, Sr_lesson,Sr_expert
We created many-to-many relationships. When content notify is inactive
In post relationship, we can add a new post in post relationship and Connect an existing post shows no result found
Content notify is active :
In post relationship, it show error when we add a new post and Connect an existing post shows no result found
I have attached the screenshot of the error when we try to add new post in post relationship.
Thanks in advance, Please guide us on this issue.
