[Resolved] Toolset Rest Api Support

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here is that the customer wanted to know if we have full support for the wordpress REST API

Solution:

Unfortunately no we currently don't have full REST support. What we have currently is for exposing the custom post types to the api for view purposes only.

50% of people find this useful.

So this I contacted the developers of this plugin and they explained how to get this to work and it works perfectly for me. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rest-api-controller/ The only problem is on their UI when you select the toolset field you want to include in the API, you can't name it with "-" See my screenshot here.

I still think the Toolset team should include a way to update, insert data via API.

@alexV-8 - are you able to provide more detail on this ... no matter what I try I am unable to post to the Toolsets (or any) custom fields on a custom post type...
I am trying to create a Zapier integration, and I will fully document it for all once I get this last part working 🙂

Cheers
