I have followed these instructions, but I'm still getting the error - Site key not matching in 'communication error details'. (I moved the site from a dev.sitename.co.uk to just sitename.co.uk)

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/toolset-plugin-cant-connect-to-toolset-server/

Does it take some time to resolve?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Have you generated a new site key for your new domain "sitename.co.uk" and registered the Toolset?

#2498117

I did.

There was a key for original sitename.co.uk.
I created a dev site dev.sitename.co.uk and created key.
Both fine.

I deleted original site.
Copied the dev site to sitename.co.uk
Deleted dev.

I forgot to change the Toolset keys.

Now I've deleted both the original sitename.co.uk and dev.sitename.co.uk Toolset keys, recreated a new key for sitename.co.uk and registered.

But still have the error.

What if you navigate to:
=> Dashboard => Updates => click on "Check Again" link.

I hope you already registered the new site key you created.

Toolset doesn't have an Updates in its Dashboard. But I went back to the Plugins page, and all seems to be fine now, so as I first thought there is a delay after recreating the key and entering it in WordPress plugins.

JFYI I had previously gone to Plugins, clicked Registered under Toolset Blocks and clicked Check for updates and that was fine, green tick remained etc.

But either way it seems to have resolved under it's own volition.

I'm not sure whats going wrong with your setup.

Can you please share admin access details and let me check whats going wrong with your setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I'm not sure it's worth spending time on it as it's all resolved now, i.e. when I click on Plugins in WP Admin, I don't see the error message. Unless you think there is a fundamental issue? Let me know.

Once I'd followed the steps here https://toolset.com/forums/topic/toolset-plugin-cant-connect-to-toolset-server/#post-2158063 and after waiting awhile it appeared to clear itself - just after a time delay.

I've attached a screenshot of Toolset > Dashboard (can't see Updates).

its not Toolset => Dashboard. I never mentioned Toolset => Dashboard here.

Its on WordPress admin:
On left menu check Dashboard => Updates and click on link "Check Again".

If its resolved, you are welcome to close it. 🙂
