Tell us what you are trying to do?

My website was rebuilt using Toolset on my staging site. I recently pushed this to live. I have this error in the WordPress backend in the Plugins tab.

Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com

Toolset needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this. Please allow outgoing communication to toolset.com to remove this notice.

How to I address this?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Do you see any errors or warnings on the Toolset installer support page?
( you can visit in the admin area at {yourwebsite.com}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=otgs-installer-support )

If you see any error about an invalid or mismatched site key, it will mean that the site key from the staging website is still attached and you'll need to create a new one using the live website's address and register with that.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance with this.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar,

I had registered the live site and installed the new site key prior to seeing the error message. I believe the invalid site key message was also there. However, I checked again today and the error is no longer there!

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
