Hi Nigel

Yes, that is her. So weird - I cannot reproduce that on our production.

1) Are you getting 7 or 8 results when you just filter using "Stuttgart, Germany" and 50 km? I can only get 7.
2) Are you filtering first by language first then adding the location search or vice versa?
3) Sometimes we have noticed that when we enter a location, eg "Stuttgart" and don't choose anything from the Google autocomplete suggestions, and press "Search" that the entered location is disappearing after a brief moment and we get all the results, as if the location had not been entered at all.

Kind regards
Simon

I simply clicked the link you shared earlier: hidden link

If you don't see the expected result when clicking that link I expect it would be a caching issue (not the address cache).

I do find the interface a little confusing or frustrating when you have the setting to update the results after any filter change, as the first filter choice triggers an update while you are still selecting other filters. As a matter of choice I prefer updating the results once the search button is pressed.

Hi Nigel

Correction - I just managed to reproduce it! That didn't work for me yesterday, after implementing the workaround for either of our two cases. Now it appears to work, also for the Portuguese speaking nanny in Berlin.

Could there be a cache issue at play?

Kind regards
Simon

Oh I see we have updated each other at the same time...

Hmm, I take your point. It used to work faster, but I guess as the amount of results is growing it might be better to change the autosearch feature.

I'll discuss with my colleague but for now it appears to be working, I'll ask her to test more too.

In the meantime, I think you don't need to do any more work here until the new Maps release comes out.

THANKS SO MUCH for the workaround 🙂 ! This has been a big frustration for us.

Kind regards
Simon
