Hello,

After I updated toolset map plugin from 1.7.4 to 1.8.3 the distance filter stopped showing anything

I created a wordpress installation for you to test freely

in the houses page you should see a map
hidden link

with the 1.7.4 you see it and you can filter by distance
with the 1.8.3 it says "no items found"

while you fix this (please tell me when it's fixed) I'll keep using the 1.7.4 on the live website

Hi, this is strange. I don't see anything obviously wrong here. Can you give me some more information?
- Was this test site created from scratch, or did you import data from another site?
- When you updated from Maps 1.7.4 to Maps 1.8.3, did the database migration process run successfully, or were there any errors reported?
- Is it okay for me to install the Duplicator plugin to make a copy of this site so I can examine the database structure?

The website I gave you is a clean wordpress installation with only toolset types, view and map using the default theme.

I created 2 custom posts (houses) with an address and made a view with a map + distance filter in the link I gave you ( / houses )

I also gave you SFTP to play around.

if you need to duplicate the website do as you please, you can do whatever you want with the website I gave you 🙂

Okay I think I see the issue here. This server is running MySQL 5.5.62, but the minimum requirement for Maps 1.8+ is 5.6: https://toolset.com/toolset-requirements/
If it's possible to have your host upgrade MySQL to 5.6+, distance searches should work in Maps 1.8.3.

Hello!

I updated the server to mysql 5.7 and php 7.2

still got the same problem as you can see in the website I gave you 🙁

Solved by converting the cache of old address after the update (in the troubleshooting page)
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
