Toolset Layouts, Types and Views Updates causes image size to change

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: Update Toolset plugins

Please note: the Astra theme and Astra Pro plugin are not up to date due to the issue described in this support ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/issues-when-astra-pro-plugin-is-updated/

I expected to see: no issues

Instead, I got: change in image dimensions (screenshots)

Updating Toolset Layouts, Types and Views to latest versions caused some featured images added within a Toolset CPT to change height dimension from 390px x 390px to 390px x 600px (see screenshots). Replacing the previous version of Toolset plugins resolved the issue only once #3 Views plugin was rolled back.

The plugins were rolled back in this order, going back to the old version of Views fixed the issue
1. Layouts (updated to 2.6.3.1, then reinstalled old version, 2.6.2)
2. Types (updated to 3.3.8, then reinstalled old version, 3.3.5)
3. Views (updated to 3.0.1 then reinstalled old version, 2.9.2)

A forum thread mentions that Layouts in now in maintenance mode, what does this mean for updating the plugins?

Hello,

You are right, the Toolset Layouts is in maintenance mode, but we will keeps on updating it for fixing bugs.

And I can log into your website, where can I see the problem you mentioned above? Please point out the problem page URL.

Hi,

Before replying I wanted to run the updates and install the workaround as instructed in this support request: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/issues-when-astra-pro-plugin-is-updated/

This image size issue was resolved on Jan. 5 by rolling back the Toolset plugins, Astra Pro, and Astra theme, so I thought it would be fixed by the workaround I installed today.

But the image size change issue is back again and can be seen at:

I've adjusted the types shortcode that displays the images as given under where I've added the attribute: resize='proportional'

[types field='case-study-featured-image' alt='%%ALT%%' title='%%TITLE%%' size='medium' align='left' resize='proportional' ][/types]

I can see now with both of the following page image displays correctly:
