Hi there,

Just a general question please?
Is it possible to make a Toolset Search use Pages, not a Taxonomy?

We use Toolset widely for taxonomy searches however a different setup on one of our sites means this isn't working right.

So, is it possible using a View (Legacy) where we have a search bar that uses a pages drop down option?

Worth an ask. Thank you.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

With Views (blocks/classic), You can add frontend filter for custom search view for post custom fields, taxonomies, distance search (search by address). There is no feature available to add the frontend filter form pages.

One workaround I can thing of is, if you can add post-relationship between page post type and with your desired post type, then you can add the post filter as dropdown. Please check the following Doc:

Hi Minesh,

Thanks for that however I have never been able to understand how relationships work....seems to get very completed.

Unsure however I could even attempt to get this to work in our environment.
