[Resolved] Toolset –> Custom Fields control interface hanging after update to v3 of Types

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The custom fields page at Toolset > Custom Fields was failing to load correctly, and errors in the browser console suggested that certain JS files that are included with Toolset plugins were missing.

Solution:
The client has the WP Hide plugin installed to mask plugin URLs and needed to update settings so as not to affect Toolset.

I am trying to:

Update custom post fields via Toolset -> Custom Fields. Since I updated to v3 of Types this afternoon, this interface just displays a loading bar, which then freezes.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

Sorry, my website is still in "test" - and is not yet live.

I expected to see:

The normal control interface.

Instead, I got:

A loading bar.

Hi Michael

Can you check your browser console? From the look of your screenshot I expect you will see JS errors, and I'd like to know what they are.

Hi Nigel.

Here's what appears in the console:

CONSOLE1810304: console.memory is not implemented and will return 0 for all attributes. Please use the memory profiler to monitor memory utilization.

HTML1523: Overlapping end tag. Tags should be structured like "b>i>/i>/b>" instead of "b>i>/b>/i>".

Thanks for that.

According to the error message part of your Types install is missing, for some reason.

Could you please download Types from wp-types.com/account/downloads, delete the current Types plugin install, then from the Add new plugins page upload the zip of Types 3.0 you just downloaded and then test again?

Hi Nigel.

I deleted the "types" folder in the plugins folder. Uploaded the types3.zip to the server and extracted it on the server. I reactivated Types within Admin -> Plugins.

But unfortunately, I'm getting the same problem:

HTTP404: NOT FOUND - The server has not found anything matching the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier).
GET - hidden link

Sorry about this Michael.

According to those error messages certain JS files that are part of the Types plugin are missing.

I tried to access them directly with and without https but you have a maintenance mode plugin active and I can't check that.

It would probably be quickest if I could get site credentials from you so that I can perform a few simple tests, and if needs be take a copy of the site to pass on to our developers if I can't identify the problem myself.

Let me mark your next reply as private to get those from you.
