[Resolved] toolset can not connect

This support ticket is created 4 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com
Toolset needs to connect to its server to check for new releases and security updates. Something in the network or security settings is preventing this. Please allow outgoing communication to toolset.com to remove this notice.

Hello,

Please check these:
Go to Plugins → Add new and click on the Commercial tab, click button "Check for updates", check if there is any error message.

If you get some connection error messages, that means your webserver can not connect with Toolset API server: hidden link

You will need to check it with your web server provider for it.

I am still having issues with this error on multiple sites now.

There is no issue with server being able to communicate with yours. I am hosting on WPEngine (one of the biggest WP hosting companies) and never had this issue before.

PLEASE tell me what I need to do to fix this error? This is a recent thing. Been with you many years and no issues like this.
