[Resolved] Toolset Access on toolset plugin

This support ticket is created 2 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hey I want to ask if there is a way for a specific user role to give view access on the toolset plugin tab

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you be more specific what exactly and for what role you want to grant access using the Toolset access plugin? Maybe you can share screenshot as I would like to know what tab (Toolset plugin tab) you mentioned you are talking about.

Hey, Im referring to the attached. I have a custom admin role but for Toolset tab I want to give him only view access and not edit. Is this possible?

Here is the Doc that shows what you can manage using Toolset Access:

Toolset Access works based on the role but you can add specific user permission by adding user to specific capability of the post type, please check the following screenshot:

If you want to remove the menu item from Toolset admin menu based on role you will have to add hook that will remove the unwanted menu item.
