I have a custom title for my custom post type Equipment. The title says "Equipment short description". However when I click the "Add New Equipment" from the relationship shown on the vendor, the modal does not pre-populate with the default text and just says "Title". Is there a way I can customize these in the modal?

Hello,

In your screenshot, the field "Title" is post title, there isn't default value for it, and there isn't such kind of feature to pre-populate the post title when you create a new post within Types plugin. It is same result as wordpress built-in post type "post", for example, you can create a new post, as you can see:
the post title field is pre-populate as blank value.

So in your case, you might consider custom codes, but according to our support policy, we don't provide custom codes support.
