[Resolved] The field of the translated types does not change

This support ticket is created 6 years, 2 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'm testing but the whole page does not work, I'm referring to the page:

Anything I change is not taken. I checked and the field translation settings are correct, I have performed the "copy from the original" not the "overwrite from the original". If it can help: there are no mandatory fields, there are more conditional fields.

Hi Fabio,

There might be a setting in our WPML translation management plugin that should be able to resolve this.

Could you follow the instructions in the link below ?

Particularly the setting under the Multilingual Content Setup

Maybe I explained myself badly, excuse me.
What I mean to say is that any changes I make to the page after saving are deleted.
Regarding the WPML settings I have already checked and set up according to my needs,
I leave 2 screenshots to show you that the fields have already been rendered translatable (or copy once, or copy) and one for the individual types settings

Would you mind recording a short video of the issue ?

I have an idea of the issue but I need to ensure my understanding is correct.

Normally translation issue would be handled by our WPML forum but I want to understand the issue fully before I make a decision on how to best assist.

Hi Fabio,

I'm able to see the issue now.

Your translated fields are pretty much not being updated.

Just to ensure that this is not a plugin conflict I would like for you to disable the non-toolset and WPML plugins and try again to see if it helps.

I tried this on a local testing environment but I was not able to replicate.

I did a test, I disabled all the plugins one by one,
I leave in the video the final proof where I find the error is in WPML Translation Management.

Everything seems correct to me.

Would you mind if I installed the duplicator plugin and took a copy of the site to test here locally ?

Also when did this issue started to occur ? Was it after an update?

Currently the translation translation plugin is keeping it off and you will find it in the list of plugins in the last positions, I do not know exactly when it stopped working because the products on the site had already created them all and translated without problems, some day later he stopped working.

I leave the backup with duplicator via wetransfer.

Hi Fabio,

Have you opened a ticket with our WPML team ?

Normally translation issues are handled with our WPML team as they are better trained to handle issues relating to WPML.

I would recommend that you have them take a look as well.
