[Resolved] The date field won't allow me to enter the date 30 A.D.

This support ticket is created 3 years, 7 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

I am trying to: record the historic date of 30 A.D. in the date field. The earliest I can record a date is the year 1583. How do I enter earlier dates?

I expected to see: A way to input the date manually WITHOUT the Date picker.

Instead, I got: The datepicker and it won't allow a date past 1583 A.D.

Hello, this date limitation is imposed by using a Gregorian calendar codebase. Our developers have decided that datepickers must adhere to this standard and do not have a simple workaround available. A different field type is usually necessary to capture older dates in a custom field. Relevant erratum post:
