The best way to add more fields to a current live cpt which has data

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I just wanted some advice on the best way to add more fields to a CPT which already has data .

Will this delete the current data ?

Hi, you can safely add more custom fields to an existing CPT. It won't delete the current field data when you add new fields.
