After watching a number of tutorials I notice what seems to be a lack of Themes.
It seems that in building a dynamic site a Theme is not needed.
eg
https://toolset.com/lesson-placement/lesson-placements-1621521-1612071/ etc
Some benefit may be had from perhaps Templates.
I expect am missing something so please correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you

Hi John,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

While working with the Toolset, a WordPress theme is still needed and it makes a difference which theme you have active.

The basic styles and typography are provided by the theme. A web page consists of layout elements like the header, footer, content area, and sidebar(s). The structure/bases of these elements are dependent on the active theme.

The Toolset content templates will allow you to design what is shown in the content area, while the other elements will continue to be controlled by the theme.

I hope this makes this relationship more clear and you can find the list of Toolset recommended themes at:
https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/

Waqar

Thanks Waqar for your further help.

At the moment I am just trying to get used to the various aspects of toolset and it's requirements.
I understand that to get started on a listing site I need to get some theme pages constructed first.
I have looked at a number of instructional videos and these usually cover a lot of ground fast. It is difficult to recall what has been said!
No doubt in time this will become more obvious.
I did discover an alternative which seems to provide an easier start and I wondered what you may think of this as a starting point.
This can be seen at

Thanks for writing back.

Your observation is correct and there are several theme and page builder combinations that you can use. As you experience them and get to know them better, you'll be able to pick the one that suits your content creation style and the project's requirements.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
