Taxonomy not showing on block editor

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Taxonomy options not showing on edit screen of Posts

Solution:

In this user's case the problem was being caused by the iThemes security plugin.

Disabling this plugin resolved the issue.

We have a custom taxonomy assigned to a custom post type, but when we go to edit posts from the custom post type, the taxonomy isn't showing up on the edit screen. I've double-checked that the taxonomy is assigned to the post type, and also checked that the show_in_rest setting is checked on the post type, and the Disable show_in_rest is not checked on the taxonomy. Any idea what else might be preventing it from showing up?

What you can do is to check if the "show_ui" option is checked. If it is and the issue still remains, please provide me with admin access to the site so that I can have a look at this one for you.

Please also let me know the taxonomy that you are having issues with.

Hi Annie,

I had a look at this for you and the issue is being caused by the iThemes security plugin.

Once I disabled this the taxonomy loaded fine on the edit page.
