[Resolved] Taxonomies and custom fields disappeared

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

This morning between around 3 and 6 am gmt +2 I created some custom taxonomies and custom fields. 7 hours later I logged in my wordpress admin and I noticed those taxonomies and custom fields disappeared and I had to recreated, has it already happened before with your previous customers?

Hello, no this is not normal, I have not heard of other customers having this problem. If you create a custom field or a custom taxonomy, it is stored in the database until you delete it manually from wp-admin or you make manual changes in the database. Have you had problems since you recreated the fields and taxonomies? Are the fields and taxonomies still available now in wp-admin, or have they disappeared again?

Maybe it was my hosting issue, I dont have any problem now. thank you
