[Resolved] Tags in Search Block don't display

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello,

While in the Gutenberg-Block-Editor the two available Tags for this content type show up for filtering (see attached image), they don't show up in the front end:

Any idea what to check?

Hi Sven,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

As shown in the attached screenshot, you'll find an option 'Show only filter options that would produce results', in the view's 'View Search' block's settings.

If that option is checked, it will only show the tags in the search field that are attached to any posts. The tags that are not assigned to any posts won't be shown as options.

To always show all search options, please keep that option unchecked.

Great, that works now!
Indeed there was another problem behind: I had applied the tags to the custom type using a "Quickedit"-Functionality from another plugin but that did not work.
Adding the tags in the normal page editor worked now!
