Hi there,

Thank you for contacting us and I'll be happy to assist.

I couldn't reproduce this behavior on my test multisite environment.

Can you please share exact steps and also what error/warnings message is shown when you try to edit post relationships, as a super admin? A screenshot can further make it more clear.

Note: By design, The "Toolset" menu option is available inside the individual website's admin area, but not when super admin is inside the entire network's admin area.

Hi Waqar,

I mean this relationship editor, Is this normal for super admin (higher role than admin) cannot access it?

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

Your understanding is correct and the super admin role has all the capabilities that an administrator role has and the relationship editor on the relevant post edit screen should be accessible.

While logged in as a super admin, can you visit the book edit screen again and check the "Screen Options" drawer at the top right corner?

If the checkbox for the "Book Authors" section is not checked, please check it and click the "Apply" button.

Please let me know how it goes.

regards,
Waqar

Hi there

Waqar will be off for a few days, let me check this for you.

I need to get myself set up with a multisite network for testing, and will get back to you.

I tested this on a multisite installation and also could not reproduce the problem.

I had no problems as a super-admin editing connections on a post edit screen, and I tried that on different sites on the network.

Can you confirm if it is just one site on the network where you have this problem? Or on all of the network sites?

Let me set up a private reply to get credentials from you to visit your site(s), if that's okay.

I'll need a superadmin user.

Make sure you have a current backup.

Where can I see the issue?
