[Resolved] sub categories

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do? using a view, i want to display posts on a page ordered by category and then subcategory

Is there any documentation that you are following? https://toolset.com/forums/topic/sort-by-category-name/ i can't make this work. is there a better set of instructions?

Is there a similar example that we can see? n/a

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

As I understand, you would like to display posts with associated taxonomy in following order:

Category 1
- post 1
- post 2
Category 2
- post 1
- post 2
--- sub category (category 2)
-- post 1
-- post 2

That means, if top level category has posts dispaly the posts and then if it has child category display the child category and its associated posts - correct?
