Tell us what you are trying to do?
Hello, I have created a 'News' post type, and I have started the Archive page.

2 questions:

1)Toolset does not find the Taxonomies I have for News?

2)how do I get rid of the sidebar (right) section, on the page layout?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?
I can provide a private link

You mean you have a text search, and you expect taxonomy terms to be included in the search results? Although you can add filters for taxonomies, terms (nor custom fields) are included in the basic text search (which returns the same results as the main WordPress text search). We have an integration with Relevanssi to include custom fields, and the Relevanssi settings also allow adding taxonomy terms to the search index. See https://toolset.com/course-lesson/searching-texts-in-custom-fields-with-toolset-and-relevanssi/ (it only mentions custom fields, but check the Relevanssi settings for taxonomies).

Toolset lets you create custom WordPress archives, but Divi has also introduced its own templating system, since when we've recommended you use it rather than using Toolset archives (assuming you want to design the archive with Divi; if you were happy to use the WordPress block editor, then Toolset custom archives would be a good choice).

If designing the archive with Toolset, there is a Theme Options section in the sidebar settings at the very bottom, which when expanded includes the option to disable the sidebar (screenshot).

Hi, Nigel.

When I want to add a taxonomy drop-down filter, Toolset can't find the 2 taxonomies I created, for News.

We have decided to start with a simple search (no filters), for the site launch. If we decide to customize the search, and add filters, I will circle back to this issue.

Thank you for the response, and have a great day. 🙂

Thanks for the update and you're welcome to start a new ticket, if you later, decide to include the taxonomy filters.

Have a nice day!
