Hello so I am displaying 6 blogs posts on a homepage and I need sticky posts to show first. For some reason this is not happening. Can you tell me if I am missing anything?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The Toolset views don't show the sticky posts first and follow the order set in the view's settings.

There are two approaches you can use, to show the sticky posts, first:

1. You can create two separate views; one with a query filter to only show the sticky posts and the other to only show the non-sticky posts.
( more details in this support ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/always-display-post-that-is-marked-as-sticky-first/ )

OR

2. Instead of using the WordPress sticky post feature, you can include a custom field for setting the sticky post status and then use that field to order the results in the view.
( more details in this support ticket: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/make-custom-post-types-sticky/ )

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
