Thank you Waqar.

I have added the code you have kindly provided me, but the page still doesn't work.

I f I understand correctly, in your clone works correctly, is that right?

I don't know what happened in mine, but since I have added the first version of the code, the search stopped working in general, and it still does not work even after removing the code.

Do you have any idea why this happens or how to solve it?

Hi,

I've tested the search on the archive page ( hidden link ) and it seems to be working.
( I tried by filtering by some 'Tecnologías' terms and the results where updated, accordingly )

Can you please share the exact steps to see the issue?

regards,
Waqar

Hi Waqar, now it's working!

Just one hour ago, it was not working... I don't understand, you did not do anything apart from using it from the frontend?

#2672903

Thanks for the update and glad that it is working now.

I just saved the content template twice to see the output of the taxonomy 'Familias de autoclaves Raypa'.
( to confirm if the custom code from the previous ticket was working or not )

Other than that, I've made no change.

#2672913

Well, that fixed it apparently..!

But the custom code is not working, is it?
The products with the taxonomy that should be excluded still show up among the results

#2673215

I thought the goal was to hide those posts only on the initial page load when no search has been performed.
( ref to what was discussed: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/exclude-specific-posts-from-search-on-an-archive-page/#post-2667579 )

Currently, that is exactly how the code is working and it hides the excluded term's results when the archive page loads and no search has been performed.

The most important part now was fixing the page, and now it works.

The solution to hide the taxonomy on the first page is a little weird, since when the user clicks the second page, he will find 10 results more than on the first.

What I end up doing was removing the product I don't want to appear from the taxonomy used as filters.

Thank you very much for your help and support Waqar!
