Hi there
I seem to have a problem with sorting controls on all views of Woocommerce products which the most recent (yesterday) Toolset and Woocommerce update has not resolved... Which makes me think I have something amiss on my site.
TOOLSET VIEW EXAMPLE
I have a view of products (Tickets). The view orders the products by a custom date field (numeric, ascending) and this works fine. Then in the sorting controls I have set the default by that same custom date field, then there is an option to sort by the woo_price field (numeric, ascending) and the native post date (numeric, descending). All the sorting controls work fine except the woo_price field... Is it useful to mention that the woo_price data is all in the same format with a decimal place - example - 150.00 or 4.00 or 56.00. See screenshot of my view setup attached.
TESTING THE VIEW
If you would like to test and see the issue please navigate to this page - hidden link. You will see that the products are listed correctly in the custom field date order. If you then select 'Celeste' in the 'Which event?' dropdown filter and select 'Sort by cheapest first' in the sorting dropdown you will see that the result is definitely not in price order.
OTHER SETUP AND TESTS
I have all the very latest plugins and theme. I have tried disabling plugins and changing the theme to see if there is a conflict issue. No results. I have tried various ideas from other forum posts like disabling ajax on the filter etc... There is one forum post that suggests to go to Woocommerce Blocks (presumably the same as Woocommerce Views) and uncheck a front-end control checkbox however I don't seem to be able to find that option in my Toolset settings. Has it moved or been removed with the latest update?
Would be grateful for any other ideas...
I can't think what else I can do/test/check to find out what's wrong and why...
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you please share admin access details so I can check what's going wrong with your setup.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Hi Minesh
Thanks for coming back.
Ok so... last time I gave access for this site things didn't go so well so I will try to setup a test site on my server for you.
In the meantime, is there anything I can check or test for you?
Rita
