I am trying to: Solve an issue where the sort order is changing on pagination

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

If you "sort by name" then "A to Z" and then choose to go to the next page using the pagination at the bottom, the sort order flips to "Z to A" on the next page. It's going from Ascending to Descending for some reason. Any help appreciated.

This problem is abnormal, please try this:
1) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, remove all custom JS codes, and test again
