Hi, our social share code is not working on the layout template, nothing is showing.

hidden link

The code is placed below the About the space text on the about link

<p>[vc_row css_animation="" row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="full_width" angled_section="no" text_align="left" background_image_as_pattern="without_pattern"][vc_column][social_share_list][/vc_column][/vc_row] </p>

First, let me say that Toolset Layouts and Visual Composer should not be used together. For best results, choose one or the other. Follow our guidelines here for best-practices when working with Toolset and WPBakery: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/.

If you continue using Layouts and stop using WPBakery:
1. Remove the Visual Composer shortcodes in this content. Let me know if the shortcode works without the Visual Composer shortcodes.
2. Edit the Visual Editor cell that contains this code. Toggle the checkbox for "Disable the_content() filter" to see if the behavior changes. Let me know the results.

If you stop using Layouts and continue using WPBakery:
3. Design a Content Template with WPBakery and apply the social sharing shortcode in the WPBakery design. Let me know if the shortcode works without Layouts.

If you continue using both Layouts and WPBakery, I need to inform you that conflicts and bugs related to using both systems together will not be addressed by our developers.

I tried 1. & 2. no success.

I would like to try Point 3. next but I can not see a button for wpbakery on toolset layouts, I have found the below link as a guide, but still can not see a wpbakery button.

https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/create-templates-for-custom-post-types/

Well point 3 is if you choose to use WPBakery without using Toolset Layouts. Sorry if that was unclear. You will use WPBakery to design Content Templates instead of Layouts. There are no Layouts, because the plugin is deactivated.

Confused, the layouts plugin is active.

If I use WP Bakery for the template, how do a assign the layout to a toolset custom post type?

Right, that's what I'm trying to explain - there is no recommended way to integrate WPBakery with Toolset Layouts. There is no recommended way to use the WPBakery Builder on the Toolset Layout editor page, and there is no recommended way to add a Toolset Layout in the WPBakery builder page. The two systems are not integrated or compatible, and furthermore the Toolset Layouts plugin and the WPBakery plugin should not be active at the same time. This is the current advice of both Toolset and WPBakery, and delaying acceptance of this advice is most likely to make the necessary adjustments more difficult later.

Yes, it is technically possible to go to Toolset > Content Templates and create a new template using WPBakery. Yes, it is technically possible to insert this Content Template in a Layout. I must stress, however, that this method is not recommended and will undoubtedly cause problems on your site in the future. It could even cause unpredictable issues right now. Problems resulting from using Layouts and WPBakery at the same time will not be addressed. I don't want you to get stuck in a situation where your site has problems that cannot be supported by our support team, so I'm advising you to either deactivate Toolset Layouts or deactivate WPBakery and then make any necessary adjustments to your site.

Okay I wasn't aware that was the case, but understand now, thank you for the explanation,

I definitely want to make sure they are no unnecessary issues. We'll recreate the templates in WPBakery and uninstall the plugin.

Thank you!
