Tell us what you are trying to do?
After upgrading from Toolset Types 3.2.7 (I think) to Toolset Types 3.4.1, the slideshow on most pages of the website is not showing correctly. The images are displayed underneath each other instead of as a slideshow, and the title is only shown on one image.
When I visit toolset types in the backend of the site, there is a message which says "Your theme’s template file for displaying Slider Image items is missing custom fields." When I click on the "Resolve" button, it says to download 'Toolset Views' from my Toolset account, but the page that it takes me to does not have Toolset Views. Where do I find this?
I didn't create this theme, it was done by a previous developer, and I've only used toolset a couple of times, so I'm not really familiar with how to fix this problem. Can you help?
What if you try to install and and see if that help you to resolve your issue.
As you already build your site with classic views, to access classic views, you should set the following setting:
=> Toolset-> Settings => General tab and within section "Editing experience", enable option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build"
If you still require further assistance:
- Can you please share problem URL where I can see the issue as well as admin access details.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Hi Minesh,
I tried fixing this issue, but I'm not a coder so I wasn't able to fix it.
Instead I have adjusted each "slideshow" to only have one image in it, so they are static and not being listed down the page.
I am rebuilding the site using a different theme since this theme was custom built by another developer many years ago and is now having compatibility issues. So I will rebuild the slideshows then.
