Slider with featured image and conditional statement

On the homepage, I want to make a slider with featured image coming from a custom post type "projets".
Some post (or projet) have got a featured image and other not.
I want that views check if there's a featured image or not. So if there is a featured image on the post it displays if not -> show the next one and so on. I try several thing with conditional statement and the “if empty” fonction but it doesn't work. Do I miss something with views ? Thanks for your help !
