[Resolved] Slider shows only two posts then scrolls out of view

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

Views sliders have only two new items, then scrolls once off the page and disappears. This doesn't happen when the slider is added to a separate page. Functions normal on a separate page.

Solution:

It should be a conflict with your theme, you can add the view widget into sidebar directly.

I am trying to: Create a slider for new items on the homepage

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Infinitely scrolling posts of new items

Instead, I got: only two new items, then scrolls once off the page and disappears. This doesn't happen when the slider is added to a separate page. Functions normal on a separate page.

Hello,

Thanks for the details, I can login your website, I assume we are talking about the post view "Articles Slider"
hidden link

I have tried to put it into another page:
hidden link

It works fine.

it might be a CSS/JS compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2017, and test again.

I have done this. I still cannot pinpoint the conflict. When I swap to the 2017 theme, it doesn't have a scrollable area. I assume this is because the site was originally built with Genesis and a lot of its built in features.

Yes, you are right, it should be a conflict with your theme, I have done below modification in your website:
Dashboard-> Appearence-> Widgets
in section "Home - Articles", add a view widget: Articles Slider, remove the "Custom HTML" widget,
Test it in front-end, it works fine, see it here:
hidden link
