I have a single field block on certain pages that is supposed to display a list of terms for the Locations taxonomy. It is working on the front end. However, it is not updating or showing the correct terms in the page editor. While this is not public-facing, it is causing confusion for our client.
How can we have the page editor single field block reflect what is showing on the front end?
Hello,
The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, I have tried it in my localhost with a fresh WP installation + the latest version of Toolset plugins, it works fine after save the post and refresh browser, see my screenshot single-block.JPG
Is there any missing steps?
Hi Luo,
It seems that the issue is occurring when a pipe "|" is used to separate the terms. I tried using a comma, and it worked fine. Are you seeing this happen on your end?
I have tried it again in my localhost, it works fine with Separator "|" too, see my screenshot.
So the problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please check these:
1) 1) Make sure you are using the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate all other plugins, and switch to WordPress default theme 2021, and test again
3) If the problem still persists, please provide database dump file(ZIP file) of your website, you can put the package files in your own google drive disk, share the link only, also point out the problem page/post URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks
