I do not have a produktiv Website with toolset at the moment, I am still learning the different features in toolset. My question is:
Is there a possibility to do (single) custom fields and to assign them to any Post Types as needet.
Example:
Product= Post Types
Field= (single) Custom Fields
Product A has Field 1, Field 2, Field 5 and Field 7
Product B has Field 3, Field 4, Field 5 and Field 6
Product C has Field 1, Field 2, Field 3, Field 4, Field 5 and Field 7
I would like to selct by each singel custome field in which post types can this field be used. But I can only choos the recomendet Group of filds in each productgroup and not all fields.

Actually yes this is possible you are able to assign a single custom field to multiple CPT and this can be done by setting the field group to the CPT that you want these custom fields to appear on.
Thank you for the answer. What you are telling me is clear for me, but not what is me question.
I would like to create many single custome fields in one group and to assign them to diffrent post types. But I could not find this option, I think this would be very usefull. Otherweis I have to create the repeating fields multiple in each group. In a databaese structure maks this no sense. I will present only the custome fields for the user, which they have to fill out in a specific Post Type.
Is there any plan for the futuere to have this option in toolset? I hope you understand me know!
I am thinking now about to do this with toolset forms plugin. I will create one gruop of custome fields and than to select them, over the views in Post Form. But I think this is the less elegant way as the first one.
