As you can see in my snapshoot all templates is hidden/gone. But is says its 15 published.
The front end does use the contetn tmeplate correct, but if i update any post the content is removed from the post.
Why is those "hidden" ?
And why does the contetn removed when saved a post?
If i look in my other installation of toolset thats an OLD copy of the same site, all content templates is there.
The only difference is WPML. The site with problem has WPML. the site without problem no WPML.
The WPML subsciption has passed, so we need to extend it, but, this cant be the issue ?!
If you go to the link below you will see the content template. hidden link
Secondly can you try remaking the content template and then set it to the "packuppliers" post type and then go through and edit another of your post and let me know if the issue still remains.
i did try re-save it by changing the template code and re-saved it, now its apparing again and also in the post type (see image)
now there is 14 left to do the same with. how do i find them ?
Would it be ok to disable a few of your plugins to check on the issue for you or even grab a copy of your site to test here locally to see if I can better able to identify the issue.
Hi,
Please take a copy.
But as I said. I have a "copy" of the site without wpml and there is no issue.
I think this is related:
The thing is that i have told you (the support) before that wpml messes with the toolset functions and post listings
The language selection on top bar is missing on some admin pages in toolset. I think thats a problem. I have seen it before on other sites.
what happens if we klick on "bind 13 to packuppliers" ? see image
I had a quick look at the translation settings for the content templates.
It turns out that the translation settings for the content template was actually locked. I went ahead and adjusted the settings for the content templates and you should now start seeing your content templates showing up normally.
If you go to WPML -> Post Types Translation , here you will see content templates. There are a few other items that their translations are controlled by the wpml-config.xml file i.e the post types with the locks.
What I did was to just unlock the one for content templates which allows it to be translated with WPML.
Okey, but i wounder how that can happen from one day to another. without anyone locking it from our team. (the team is me, and one more that never uses WPML in any way) - thats strange!
But thank you for your help!!!
Plugins that are compatible with WPML normally comes with a wpml-config.xml file in the directory that will tell WPML by default how the content from the plugin should be translated.
So it can happen without your input as this is something that is added by the plugin author. WPML has the option to overwrite this.
Hopefully I was able to clear this issue up for you.
Thanks,
Shane
