[Resolved] Show top level taxonomy custom posts only

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Show top level taxonomy custom posts only

Solution:
To display only top level terms belongs to the taxonomy you will either have to go with custom shortcode or create a taxonomy view in classic mode (as in Block mode you can only create post type views - taxonomy and user kind views only supported in classic mode).

I've created two views of the same thing on this page: hidden link
But I only want to show the first level taxonomy, not the second. So instead of "Clinical Psychology, Joint Appointment Faculty" I want to just display "Clinical Psychology". Please advise on how to do that with Toolset Blocks.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To display only top level terms belongs to the taxonomy you will either have to go with custom shortcode or create a taxonomy view in classic mode (as in Block mode you can only create post type views - taxonomy and user kind views only supported in classic mode).

But If you allow me to review your current setup as requested with your previous ticket then I'll be able to guide you in right direction that which way would be better for you either shortcode or taxonomy view.
