I am trying to use the functionality: Show only filter options that would produce results

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see the filter options reduce, but they do not. I've noticed for a while now, but have come to a point where I need this to work as described.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

We have a known issue with the taxonomy filters but to confirm that I will have to check your current settings.

Can you please send me admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

This is a known issue and here is the errata page for that:

The issue is you have assigned the taxonomy "Workout Benefits" to multiple post types (Sessions and Work Outs) that is when you can see this issue.

If you assign the taxonomy "Workout Benefits" to single post type (Sessions) it should work as expected.

I removed the "Work Outs" from that taxonomy and the issue is still there.
For example, I click Agility, and all the Workout Types remain, when selecting one Workout Type it says nothing found. That should not happen.

Yes - I can see the issue and I've escalated that and added your voice to our internal ticket.

I'll get back to you as soon as I've any update on that.
