We're using Toolset Views (also Types, WooComerce Views etc) on two different WooCommerce shops to display the products and for search features. One shop is based on the Enfold multipurpose theme and the other one on a Divi Child theme.

However, on both sites we have to run legacy Toolset Views V3.1.3 - because if we update to newer versions items on the shop pages are not visible anymore and the detailed search built with Toolset is not working anymore.

Old version of Toolset would work well for the shop, but we need to upgrade PHP version of the server soon and it throws an error with PHP 8.x unfortunately.

Any idea why the (built independent of each other) shops only run proper with older Toolset Views plugin version? Any known solution or troubleshooting approch? Allready tried common solutions like deactivate caching, deactivating all other plugins, switching back to a WP base theme and so on.. no success yet.

Thx & BR,
Michael

Hi Michael

We don't have known reports about this, I really think we could only comment about why it might be happening if we could see it.

Could you make a staging server available for either site where we could do some testing (including upgrading/downgrading plugins)?

Let me mark your next reply as private so that we can get log-in credentials from you—you may want to create a temporary admin user for us to use that you can later delete. And be sure to have a current backup of your site.

Thanks Nigel,

alright. I will create capacity on the server as the site is relatively large, pls give me a couple of days to create a staging environment. I will be happy to send you credentials afterwards! Thanks.
